The rich beauty of the season is all around us…

I’m not sure if it’s life’s circumstances this year or me just getting older, but I’m definitely more in tune with all of my senses this fall season.

I have a stronger appreciation for the deep rich maroon mums as I walk in my yard, the sounds of the birds taking flight and the colors of the changing leaves captivate me like no other year. I can’t seem to drive without being enamored by the beauty that surrounds me. The smell of a pumpkin spice coffee fills me with a delight I haven’t felt in years. Maybe it’s a deeper feeling of gratitude and appreciation that comes from every experience in this new world of ours. I find myself taking nothing for granted.

Is it just me, or are the reds redder ? Are the yellows not brighter and the orange tones not exceptionally brilliant in their display this year?

It’s as if nature is on a mission to reach out and give us hope that there is more to hold on to, to hope for and to see. Are you seeing it too??
